Dr. Kevin Burgdorf, your dentist in St. Charles, MO, is dedicated to providing you and your family with quality dental care for a lifetime of healthy, beautiful smiles! He places great emphasis on being an honest, gentle, caring dentist who treats his patients, not just their teeth.

Dr. Kevin received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and went on to earn his dental degree from The Ohio State University. After graduating, Dr. Kevin completed a one-year general dentistry residency at the University Hospital in Cincinnati where he treated a wide range of patients in a hospital setting. He is a proud member of the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Kevin is committed to lifelong learning in the dental field and keeps up-to-date on the latest advancements in modern dentistry through continuing education courses and investing in the latest technology. He has created a practice that focuses on your optimum health and meeting your individualized dental goals. From beautiful smile makeovers to treatment for teeth grinding and TMJ disorders, Dr. Kevin can provide dental care that is more comfortable and less invasive than ever before!

Dr. Kevin grew up in St. Louis. After dental school, he moved back to his home town to practice dentistry. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and taking long hikes with his dog Oliver in the wonderful parks Missouri has to offer.

Alissa, RDH

Dental Hygienist

I graduated from Lewis and Clark Community College, where I pursued my goal of becoming a Registered Dental Hygienist. I love educating patients and helping them see how small habits can make a big impact on their oral health. Creating a safe space and forming genuine, personable relationships with patients is one of the most rewarding parts of my career.

Outside of work, I enjoy walking my dogs, spending time with my family, and traveling—especially to the beach!

Amy

Front Desk / Treatment Coordinator

Amy began her dental career in 1990 after attending Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, Iowa. She is an expanded-function dental assistant as well as the treatment and financial coordinator, ensuring our patients understand their dental needs from treatment options to dental benefits.

She spent 8 years in the U.S. Army Reserves as a Dental Specialist, achieving the rank of Sergeant. Shortly before moving to St. Louis in 1995, she served with her unit in Ecuador on a humanitarian mission. She currently lives in South St. Louis County.

Amy’s hobbies include twisting balloon animals with her nephews, sewing, karaoke, and visiting her family farm near Queen City, Missouri.

Alicia, RDH

Dental Hygienist

Known for her dedication and compassionate approach, Alicia is committed to making each patient’s dental visit a positive and educational experience. She takes the time to educate patients about the importance of oral health and the link to systemic health, and collaborates with them to create a personalized home care plan that promotes long-term wellness. Alicia has been in the field of dentistry for over 15 years. She attended Lewis and Clark Community College in Godfrey, IL, and became a certified dental assistant and registered dental hygienist in 2008. She also has a degree in healthcare management and is a public health dental hygienist in Illinois. When Alicia is not in the office, she works full time at LCCC as a dental instructor, where she teaches and leads a variety of lectures and lab sessions, as well as works in the clinic with students seeing patients.

In her spare time, Alicia enjoys baking, gardening, exercising, and officiating volleyball.

Brie, CDA

Dental Assistant

I graduated from Lewis and Clark Community College in May 2025, where I obtained my CDA. I love to connect with my patients and help them receive the personalized care they deserve. I also love that I learn something new every day within this field! Outside of work, I enjoy being outside and exploring, playing games, or simply watching movies with my husband.

Dental Assistant

I attended Lewis and Clark Community College where I earned my CDA. I have a passion for helping others and making them feel confident in their smile. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, watching a variety of sports, working out, and going on long walks. I like being outdoors and going hunting and fishing.

  I needed an emergency appointment, I left a message on a Sunday and was contacted first thing Monday morning. They got me right in And right out. I was so nervous and scared because I haven’t always had the best luck with any dentist. That changed today! I Was surrounded by concern, positive information, and most of all the BEST dentist Hands down!  I never felt a thing for a tooth extraction. I was so overwhelmed and when he said “we’re all set” All my emotions came pouring out, and it made me cry with joy that I was treated with such professionalism and kindness, and that goes for their staff as well.   Routine every 6 mos cleaning, check up.  Needed to alter appt time 48 hrs notice,  couldnt make my tine, Office able to switch me one hr later!  New hygienist, my other retired, new baby.   1st time going back to a dentist in around 30 years. Dr. Burgdorf and everyone on his staff was a pleasure to meet. This visit was x-rays, and to determine what I needed to have done.
